Lee has been fishing, freshwater and saltwater, for over 50 years. He is a former member of the Outdoor Writers Association of America (OWAA) and the Mason-Dixon Outdoor Writers Association. Lee is an award-winning newspaper and magazine editor, columnist, and photographer. He has authored more than 3,500 magazine and newspaper articles, which have appeared in print and online in many publications throughout North America.

In addition to his degree in Nursing, Lee also graduated summa cum laude from LaSalle University with a Master of Science Degree in Communications with a concentration in Computer Science.

Although semi-retired, Lee owns and operates Computer Tutor, a PC sales, service, and training business, which he founded in 1998. He also is a retired Registered Nurse, as well as a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

Lee is a Hall of Fame Member of the International Freelance Photographers Organization. He also is a Life Member of the BASS Anglers Sportsman Society, North American Fishing Club, and the National Rifle Association. His other memberships include the American Legion, Chamber of Commerce, and Recycled Fish.

Additionally, he has worked as public relations and marketing consultant, retail store manager, staff educator, adjunct professor and advisor, data base administrator, computer network consultant, wedding and portrait photographer, high school teacher, financial analyst, technical writer, and clinical information systems liaison.   Additionally, Lee has over 20 years of management experience.

His various past volunteer positions included Explorer Post Advisor, lobbyist, teen chamber of commerce advisor, Sunday School teacher, public relations and marketing director, fireman, music director, marriage counselor, website developer and editor, IT support, Boy Scout Merit Badge Counselor, youth group leader, political consultant, and choir director.

Lee has been in various editions of Who’s Who from 1998-2008, as well as the Premiere Edition of Who’s Who in Media and Communications.

He has been married for 43 years to Sharon, who is also his best friend and fishing partner.
